Crédit Agricole and Société Générale, the two large French banking groups, merged their real estate investment activities and gave birth to a new entity called Amundi Real Estate which brings together the complementary expertise and know-how of CAAM Real estate and SGAM REIM which both specialize in the development, structuring and management of real estate funds.

SCPI, OPCI, real estate opportunistic funds (FCPR), fiscal products, collective or tailor-made institutional funds… Amundi Real Estate offers a wide range of funds and solutions to meet the specific needs of its clients, whether they are French or international:
- institutional, large corporates, real estate professionals,
- private investors, private banks or distributors

For private banks, Amundi Real Estate has developed an innovative and non-traditional product range offering portfolio diversification (Forestry unit trusts, wine property unit trusts, Photovoltaic power plants, wind farms, fiscal products…)

Amundi Real Estate benefits from extensive experience in a diversity of real estate strategies (core, core+, value added, opportunistic). Although office real estate investment is Amundi Real Estate’s core business, we also have strong expertise in retail, industrial, logistics, hostelry or residential real estate investment.
The financial strength and the well-established networks of our two large parent banking groups, Crédit Agricole and Société Générale, enable us to offer our clients privileged access to unique investment opportunities in the French real estate market.

Amundi Real Estate has exported this approach to international markets in a very selective manner in order to offer European and French investors a secured access to new markets.

For distributors especially, our 30 years experience in developing investment products for retail banking networks gives us the specific know-how necessary to build tailor-made solutions, to package, to launch, to carry-out and to provide all necessary support services for the marketing of our products.

Building on our comprehensive knowledge of the real estate universe, its technicalities and specific regulatory and fiscal environment, we establish strong partnerships with our clients which allow us to identify and understand their exact needs and deliver the most appropriate financial solution.

Our strong financial engineering expertise and know-how allow us to structure products to meet the diversification and regulatory requirements of our clients. For example, we have developed a number of innovative structured products for some of our High Net Worth and private bank clients in non-traditional real estate sectors.

In 2008, CAAM RE Italia SGR :

• received the IPD EuroProperty Investment award for the three-year performance of its CAAM RE Italia retail fund in the Italian diversified funds category

• was also recognized as ‘Value Makers’ for its ‘close-ended’ fund “CAAM RE Italia du Milano Finanza Real Estate Elite Award”

In 2007, CAAM Real Estate was awarded the “Pierre d’Or” in the « Asset, Property, Facility Manager » category from Expertise Pierre magazine.

As of 1st January 2010, Amundi Real Estate is the name given to the real estate asset management entity that brings together the complementary expertise and know-how of CAAM Real Estate and SGAM REIM.
